🔸 Academic ID Card (Student Pass)

The Academic Identification Card officially certifies your status as an NKUA student and provides access to a range of services and facilities, including:

• University libraries
• Sports facilities
• Museums
• Discounted fares (50%) on public transportation across Greece

🔸 How to Apply

The application process is completed online through the Academic ID platform of the Ministry of Education & Religious Affairs.

Before starting your application, please ensure that you have the following:

• A recent digital photograph in .jpg or .png format
• A Greek mobile phone number

Please note that the issuance of the Academic ID card may take up to two weeks.

Students are required to carry their Academic ID when using public transport, as it must be presented during ticket inspections.

🔸 Temporary Travel Discount

While waiting for the issuance of the Academic ID, students may use their Home University Student ID to obtain reduced fares on public transportation in Greece. This discount is available for students up to 25 years of age.
