The Directorate of Public and International Relations consists of the following Departments:
- DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS, PROTOCOL AND CULTURAL EVENTS
- DEPARTMENT OF EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
- DEPARTMENT OF MUSEUM & HISTORICAL ARCHIVES
The Directorate's main tasks are:
- The University’s Public Relations and the organization of cultural events
- The development of the University’s International Relations mainly through inter-university cooperation and participation in European Educational Programmes
- The operation of the Athens University History Museum
