The exhibition is organized by the University of Sussex in collaboration with the Department of Early Childhood Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and in the context of the Connectors (2014 – 2019) international ethnographic research funded by the European Research Council (ERC).

Friday, December 1st, 2017, 18:00 – 21:00 : Event in memoriam of Dimitris Mollas (1917-1987), the Karagkiozis Shadow Theatre Player. The programme includes a book presentation and a shadow theatre performance by Angelos Alibertis. The event is organized by the Panhellenic Society of Shadow Theatre.

Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, 10:30 – 14.00 : Symposium entitled “Greek Antiquity, symbols and issues of perception in the 19th century: the Banner of the University of Athens by Nikolaos Gyzis” organized on the occasion of the periodical exhibition “The Banner of the University of Athens: contemporary visual approaches”. The exhibition and the symposium are organized by the Athens University History Museum in the framework of the 180th anniversary of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
