ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY / KA171

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), through its participation in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171) action, establishes bilateral agreements with an ever-growing number of Higher Education Institutions in countries outside the European Union (Partner Countries). In doing so, it offers culturally enriched academic experiences, expands the international network of its participants, and actively contributes to the development of a global, interconnected academic community.

Through the International Credit Mobility (ICM) program, students of all study cycles, as well as academic and administrative staff from both NKUA and partner institutions, have the opportunity to undertake mobility for studies, teaching, or training, funded by the European Union and the Greek National Agency (IKY).

Key Objectives:

  • Enhancing mobility opportunities for students and staff.
  • Upgrading the quality and impact of Erasmus+ experiences.
  • Developing lasting international partnerships of high academic value.
  • Promoting equal participation, digital transformation, and "green" practices.
  • Supporting research and educational cooperation.

Supported by a specialized organizational structure and departmental academic coordinators (faculty members), NKUA ensures the effective implementation and continuous enhancement of the Erasmus+ program.
