ERASMUS+ GRANT INFORMATION

Students participating in short-term studies activities are eligible for funding for the following:

  • Mobility period
  • Top-up for participants with fewer opportunities - To verify whether a top-up grant for a mobility from your university has been approved by the National Agency, please contact the Department of European and International Relations first
  • Two (2) Travel Days (at least 1 day before the start and 1 day after the end of the activity, if applicable and utilized)
  • Travel Expenses
  • Green Travel (if applicable, for environmentally sustainable travel options)

The Erasmus+ grant is designed to contribute to your travel and subsistence (living) expenses. To ensure financial transparency, the European Commission structures the grant payment in two separate installments:

🔹 1st Installment: Pre-Financing (80%)

  • When: Prior to your mobility, and upon submitting all required supporting documents on time and according to the guidelines (see section Application for Erasmus+ Funding)
  • What: You will receive 80% of the total calculated grant to help cover your initial travel arrangements and accommodation costs.

🔸 2nd Installment: Balance Payment (20%)

  • When: Paid after your return and successful completion of the mobility.
  • What: The remaining 20% of your grant will be disbursed only after you have submitted all required After Moblity - Final Step documents

Note on Funding Compliance: Failure to submit the required post-mobility documents within the specified deadline, or failure to complete the minimum required duration, may result in the partial or total reimbursement of the 1st installment.
