All registered NKUA students, including Erasmus+ and non-EU students, have access to free medical and dental care through on-campus health facilities. Services include:

Students without private insurance are entitled to free emergency and hospital care under the Greek National Health System (EOPYY), provided they present their Academic ID at public or university hospitals.
Non-EU students undertaking a traineeship at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) must hold valid private insurance covering the entire duration of their stay in Greece.

Students are entitled to two free meals per day from 1 September to 30 June, excluding Christmas and Easter holiday periods.
Upon arrival in Athens, students will receive instructions from their Department regarding the online application process for access to university restaurants.
